Below find some quick tips on how to have the best time in each of these locations

Mexico City

A bustling urban jungle located just near the tropic of cancer, Mexico City and it’s greater area is called home to over 18 million city folk. The streets are smothered in a variety of food stands. We ate everything, walked everywhere, and could never find a trash can.

Needless to say: here are some tips to having a great time in Mexico City:

  1. Eat everything. Vegetarianism and vegan living does not fly in this city. If this is your diet, you will miss out on all the delicious and unique street tacos. Fresh atun tacos from Contramar in el Districto Federal is a salty treat. Not worth missing. (Chef Gabriela Cámara also opened a restaurant in San Francisco, Cala)
  2. Learn the language: it will earn you so many bonus stars with the locals. Local friends teach you slang and treat you like family in their establishments. It's the best of both worlds.
  3. Explore: Bring good tennis shoes. The city is great for walking around, but it can get dull doing the grind for over a week. The surrounding area of Mexico City has a lot to offer -- explore the mountains and beaches if you have an extended trip planned.
